Self Regulation Techniques That Lead Toward Being Responsible
This workshop will introduce participants to exercises and tools that aid to avert some of the long-term health impact of adverse childhood experiences. We will engage in the application of active listening skills, healing art, resiliency building, and healthy responses to stress. This workshop will also introduce participants to Capacitar, a popular education approach for teaching skills to reduce stress, facilitate self-regulation and promote self-care and healing. Capacitar tools that will practiced include breathe work, movement, acupressure and Emotional Freedom Technique.
